Welcome to Home Fires Candle Company.

I am your Maker, Alyssa. I was a Police Officer for 6 years until I heard the call to be a Homemaker. In 2021 my husband and I decided I should leave policing to stay home and take care of the Homefront full time. The decision to quit a career I worked so hard to acquire and loved was difficult. But I could not ignore what God was calling me to.

Home Fires Candle Co. was born on a fridged and snowy Wisconsin night after much prayer and many tears. I want to encourage other women to "Keep their Home Fires burning" because I knew I was not the only one feeing that visceral calling.

Home Fires Candle Co. was created for all candle lovers, but I want it to have a special place in the heart of a Homemaker. I want our candles to serve as a flickering reminder to the Homemaker that she "Keeps the Home Fires burning" in her home.

We recently welcomed our son, Maverick, to the family! We are not offering candles at this time due to the hands on labor needed to create them. 

We do however, have a growing collection of planters available in a variety of colors! As a gardener I have a love for getting my hands in the dirt! These handmade planters give a unique rustic yet upscale look!
